Questions About Small Groups

  1. How can I join a small group?

There is no formal process. It is more about building relationships. Just tell the facilitator or someone else in the group that you're coming and show up. As is often the case with building relationships, you'll probably have to initiate and pursue it.

  2. What actually happens at small groups?

Different groups have different people and therefore different vibes. Still, we all strive towards the same vision: (summed up) Loving God and Loving Others. At a small group, there will be: bible study and prayer (and sometimes songs), hanging out, and serving others as a group. This may or may not happen all in the same night.

  3. What is the goal of small groups?

Real Community that helps us be and make disciples of Jesus. At the core of every group we strive for these values: UP, IN, and OUT. UP- Loving God back, in prayer, song, scripture reading, and Bible study. IN- caring for and challenging one another. OUT- being intentional in the way we practice loving others who don't know Jesus yet.
